客人見到我們合作固網的光纖箱主動聯絡查詢有關光纖上網申請事宜.
我們馬上報價及安排上門安裝, 客人平時工作繁忙, 需要安排周日放假時才方便安裝, 我們也會配合.
安裝時發現客人打算使用舊款 802.11n WI-FI Router, 只有 2.4Ghz 頻段, 用於光纖線路上, 的確唔理想.
見到咁情況, 我們免費提供比較新款帶有 5Ghz 的 Router, 速度及延時反應也相對好很多.

Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) Installation – Ho Pui Street, Tsuen Wan – Viking Telecom

Earlier this year, we expanded our Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) coverage to include older tenement buildings (Tong Lau) around Chung On Street, Luen Yan Street, Sam Pei Square, Sha Tsui Road, Ho Pui Street, and Ham Tin Street in the Tsuen Wan district.
A local resident noticed our FTNS partner network’s fiber distribution box and reached out to inquire about fiber broadband application.
We provided an immediate quote and coordinated the installation. Since the customer has a demanding work schedule, they requested a Sunday appointment during their day off—a request we were more than happy to accommodate.
Technical Upgrade & Optimization
During the setup, we noticed the customer was planning to use an outdated 802.11n Wi-Fi router limited to the 2.4GHz band. Using such old hardware on a modern fiber line would significantly bottleneck the performance.
To ensure the best experience, we provided a newer dual-band router (supporting 5GHz) free of charge. This resulted in much higher speeds and significantly lower latency.
