Refer by friend, customer big house at the peak Strawberry Hill, The original internet provider was unstable, and the owner experienced frequent disconnections during Zoom calls, especially in the evening when the signal and speed were even worse.

An existing customer (who has been using our internet service for their company’s factory) contacted us at 8:30 PM with an inquiry. Their home was using a major telecom provider’s fiber broadband, but relocating incurred high fees. To make matters worse, they learned that a relocation request required 28 working days’ notice. However, the customer was moving to their new home the next day and needed Wi-Fi urgently, as having no internet would be highly inconvenient.

Viking Telecom provided a short-term, full-house Wi-Fi solution with Fixed Wireless Access, offering instant setup and immediate connectivity to meet the new home’s internet needs. Once the fiber broadband relocation is complete, the customer can cancel our service.

一個很有緣份的故事分享,

 

2017 年 9 月份, 在 HKEPC 討論區見到有網友陳先生求助, 說他的大廈沒光纖寬頻, 上網好慢。

當年維京電訊成立初期, 會在各大討論區尋找類似文章, PM 版友, 介紹我們免費引進光纖寬頻服務。

 

了解情況後, 我們嘗試聯絡該大廈物業管理公司 (BMO)。

經過物業管理公司和業主立案法團開會相討後, 2018 年 3 月時順利批准我們安裝光纖寬頻系統, 引進光纖工程開展。

好事往往都是多磨, FTNS 街線鋪設時發現附近街道(南京街附近) 多個地下管道阻塞 (塞筒), 最後要花更多工程 (洗筒) 去完成接駁, 最終在 2018 年 11 月底終於順利完成, 住戶可使用光纖上網。

 

延伸故事, 在該大廈認識客戶林先生, 他也是一位 CCTV 工程公司老闆, 他和我反映有很多客戶也有類似問題, 沒有高速上網線路, 但他們的客人安裝 CCTV 後也需要連線查看 CCTV 影像。

我們初時也嘗試安排引進光纖, 但客人往往未能等待數月甚至年的工程時間, 甚至有些大廈業主立案法團長期不足人數開會, 未能相談安裝光纖事宜。

 

所以介紹他使用我們的無線寬頻方案, 維京電訊無線寬頻, 能夠提供固定 IP (Fixed IP) 無限數據, 即裝即用, 非常適合 CCTV 使用。

 

當年是 2018 年尾, 市場上很少見到有無線寬頻有提供 FIXED IP 服務, 得到林先生介紹客戶, 我們能吸收更多不同安裝地方的經驗, 改善系統, 經過幾次系統更新進步, 效果越做越好, 每位客人也滿意我們的服務, 解決客人上網之需要。

 

回望今天 2025 年, 以上客戶由我們光纖系統安裝完成後, 第一時間申請使用, 至今仍滿意使用中。

2025 年1 月, 收到求助電話新界林村南華莆168號好時華廷附近新起村屋準備入伙

 

但屋內未有任何寬頻線路 (連電話線都無), 其實該村已經有光纖寬頻, 左右隔離都 1000M 光纖入屋

但新起村屋, 未排到期鋪線, 但屋裡手機信號係零 (真係連電話都打唔到) 更勿論上網
